Trepça has announced the start of the expansion of Customs Terminal 3021 in Mitrovica, following recent actions to clear illegally built garages in the area.
According to the announcement, the expansion is being carried out in response to the continuous increase in volume and the need for additional functional space. The project focuses on enlarging the parking area within the terminal.
The investment aims to improve operational conditions, increase capacity for receiving and processing goods, and facilitate the circulation and management of transport vehicles inside the terminal.
Trepça emphasized that the project will contribute to:
- increasing efficiency in customs procedures
- improving conditions for economic operators
- advancing service standards in line with modern customs practices
The expansion is expected to directly support the further development of logistics infrastructure and strengthen the role of Customs Terminal 3021 as a key hub for the movement of goods and economic activity in the region.
