The civic platform “Liria Ka Emër” has announced that it will continue organizing gatherings and protests in support of former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA).
In a social media post, the organizers said that their presence in the squares of the capital, Prishtina, would continue until they achieve what they described as their goal.
“What a people! We will not stop. Every day and every night in the square, until freedom. For our liberators,” the platform said in its statement.
The announcement follows recent protests in Prishtina over the verdicts issued by the Kosovo Specialist Chambers against former KLA leaders. The organizers have called for continued public mobilization in support of those convicted.
The platform did not specify a new end date for the protests, saying only that gatherings would continue until their stated objective is achieved.
