Andin Hoti has announced that the draft law on the values of Kosovo’s liberation war will be submitted to the government for approval next week.

Speaking during today’s session of the Assembly of Kosovo, Hoti stated that the Ministry is currently finalizing the concept document, which will outline all key components and provisions of the law.

“The law on the values of Kosovo’s liberation war has already begun within the ministry. Due to the procedures required to initiate a law, we are drafting the concept document that will include everything the law will contain. It is close to completion, and next week it will go to the government for approval, after which we will proceed with further procedures,” he said.

The proposed legislation is expected to formally regulate and define the institutional treatment, recognition, and protection of the values stemming from Kosovo’s liberation struggle, marking a significant step in addressing long-standing legal and societal aspects related to the war.
