Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti held a virtual meeting with France’s Minister Delegate for Europe, Benjamin Haddad, as a continuation of their previous meeting at the Élysée Palace last month.

Kurti emphasized that Kosovo remains committed to its path toward European integration and is expecting to receive the European Commission’s questionnaire as a step toward obtaining candidate country status.

He noted that this process directly contributes to advancing internal reforms, particularly in public administration and the judiciary.

Both sides also discussed cooperation with France in the framework of the Mediterranean Games 2030, which will be hosted in Kosovo, as an opportunity to deepen economic and cultural ties between the two countries, as well as to enhance cooperation in investment and trade.

Kurti further expressed his intention to strengthen cooperation in the fields of security and defense, in line with the ongoing transformation of the Kosovo Security Force in accordance with Euro-Atlantic standards.
