A hearing has begun in the case of Thaçi and others at the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague.
The trial relates to charges of offences against the administration of justice.
In this case, those under indictment are Hashim Thaçi, Bashkim Smakaj, Fadil Fazliu, Isni Klaj, and Hajredin Kuçi.
At the initial hearing on 27 February 2026, the defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against them.
It was also announced in the session that former President Hashim Thaçi and the others are following the proceedings via video link.
