The British Ambassador to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves, has met with the Chair of the Central Election Commission (CEC), Kreshnik Radoniqi, ahead of the June elections.
Hargreaves said that the United Kingdom and the Central Election Commission have developed “a close relationship in our successful cyber cooperation to ensure the effective functioning of the software for counting and publishing votes in the last municipal and national elections.”
“I am pleased that we are continuing our support for the upcoming national elections on 7 June,” he said.
The British Ambassador added that the CEC plays a fundamental role in ensuring the integrity and transparency of electoral processes in Kosovo.
“During the meeting with the CEC Chair, Kreshnik Radoniqi, it was positive to hear how the CEC is further improving and strengthening its procedures,” he added.
