Iran’s Ministry of Health and Medical Education says at least 14 people have been killed and 78 others injured during two days of U.S. airstrikes across the country.
According to the United States Central Command, the latest wave of strikes targeted more than 90 locations across Iran. Iranian media reported explosions and attacks along the country’s southern coastline and in the northern province of Golestan Province.
According to reports:
- Chabahar experienced power outages and explosions. A hospital was reportedly struck by debris, while two piers and a maritime traffic control tower were also targeted.
- In Iranshahr, a firefighter was killed during a strike on the city’s airport, damaging its flight operations building and meteorological station.
- Explosions were reported in Bushehr, where Iranian officials said U.S. strikes targeted facilities in the city and nearby islands in the Persian Gulf.
- Projectiles also struck Bandar Abbas, with videos showing multiple explosions and large fires near the city’s Haqani Port.
- Iranian media reported additional strikes on Abu Musa and the southern coastal cities of Sirik, Jask, and Konarak.
- A railway bridge in Aqqala, located in Golestan Province, was also reportedly hit.
- In Khuzestan Province, three people were killed near the city of Ahvaz, according to provincial officials.
Iranian state media also reported that eight members of Iran’s air and naval forces were killed in earlier strikes on Bandar Abbas and Bushehr.
