Major Driton Haxhiaj of the Kosovo Army has successfully completed the Peacekeeping Operations Contingent Commanders Course (PKOCCC), an international training program designed to prepare military officers to lead national contingents in peacekeeping missions.
The achievement was announced by the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Japan, which congratulated the Kosovo Army officer on his professional accomplishment.
“Congratulations to Major Driton Haxhiaj of the Kosovo Army on successfully completing the Peacekeeping Operations Contingent Commanders Course (PKOCCC), held today at the Japan Peacekeeping Training and Research Center (JPC) in Tokyo, Japan,” the embassy said in a statement.
The embassy noted that completing the course represents not only a personal achievement for Major Haxhiaj but also an important contribution to strengthening the professional capabilities of the Kosovo Army.
“This is a significant professional achievement and a valuable contribution to enhancing the Kosovo Army’s capacity for participation in international peacekeeping missions,” the statement added.
The PKOCCC, organized by the Japan Peacekeeping Training and Research Center (JPC) in Tokyo, is a specialized program that prepares military officers to command forces in multinational peace support operations in accordance with international standards.
Major Haxhiaj’s successful completion of the program reflects Kosovo’s continued commitment to developing its military professionalism and strengthening cooperation with international partners in the fields of security and peacekeeping.
