Increased Border Traffic: Here Is the Current Situation at Kosovo’s Border Crossings

Increased vehicle traffic has been reported at several of Kosovo’s border crossing points, with the longest waiting times recorded at exits from the country.

According to the latest data on border traffic, at the Dheu i Bardhë crossing, waiting times are between 5 and 10 minutes when entering Kosovo, while those exiting the country are facing waits of up to 30 minutes.

At Merdarë, travelers are experiencing waiting times of 10 to 15 minutes in both directions. Meanwhile, at Mutivodë, waiting times are between 3 and 5 minutes when entering and 5 to 10 minutes when exiting.

Traffic at other border crossings remains lighter. According to Sinjali, waiting times at Bërnjak, Jarinjë and Qafë e Morinës are generally between 2 and 5 minutes, while at Glloboqicë they are around 5 minutes.

At Hani i Elezit, Kullë, Muçibabë, Stançiq and Vërmicë, waiting times are generally between 5 and 10 minutes. At Qafë e Prushit, meanwhile, waits are shorter, at around 1 to 2 minutes.
