Kosovo’s acting Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, met with Blanca Hereza Atienza, Head of the Current Operations Section within NATO’s Operations Division, and her delegation to discuss security developments in Kosovo and the wider region.
According to Maqedonci, the meeting focused on the current security situation, regional developments and the importance of continued coordination between Kosovo’s institutions and NATO.
Maqedonci highlighted Kosovo’s ongoing cooperation with NATO and praised the Alliance’s contribution to maintaining a safe and stable environment in Kosovo and the region.
He reaffirmed Kosovo’s commitment to further strengthening cooperation with NATO and contributing, through its capabilities, to regional and international security and stability.
The meeting comes as Kosovo continues to deepen its cooperation with NATO and strengthen its defense and security institutions, while regional security remains a key priority for both Prishtina and its international partners.
