Idriz Rrecaj Among Victims Identified from Mass Grave in Northern Kosovo, Son Announces

After 27 years of waiting and uncertainty, the family of Idriz Rrecaj has received confirmation that his identity has been officially established by the DNA laboratory in The Hague.

The news was announced by his son, Shpëtim Rrecaj, who said that after many years, the family had finally received an answer about the fate of his father.

“After 27 years of waiting, pain and uncertainty, we received news from our institutions that the DNA laboratory in The Hague has officially confirmed the identification of my father, Idriz Rrecaj,” Shpëtim Rrecaj wrote.

He emphasized that the family’s question, “Where is Idriz Rrecaj?”, has now finally been answered after a long wait to establish his fate.

Shpëtim Rrecaj expressed his gratitude to the institutions and everyone who has contributed over the years to uncovering the fate of missing persons.

“BLOOD NEVER DISAPPEARS!” he wrote.
