Serbian lawyer and government critic Čedomir Stojković has questioned the political leadership associated with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Srpska Lista, arguing that Kosovo Serbs are being urged to vote while some former party officials have established their personal and professional lives in Belgrade.

Stojković highlights what he sees as a contradiction between political appeals directed at Serbs in Kosovo and the circumstances of figures who previously held prominent positions within the political structures representing the community. His criticism focuses on political accountability, representation and the long-term consequences of decisions made by those claiming to defend Kosovo Serbs’ interests.

The opinion piece refers to several figures associated with Srpska Lista and the broader political network linked to Vučić, including Vladeta Kostić, Aleksandar Jablanović, Goran Rakić, Zlatan Elek and Milan Radoičić. Stojković uses their political roles and circumstances to support his wider criticism of the leadership’s approach to the Serbian community in Kosovo.

At the heart of his argument is the question of whether political leaders urging Kosovo Serbs to participate in elections and support a particular political course should also be held accountable for their own decisions and the consequences of their policies.

Stojković, a lawyer known for his opposition to Vučić’s government, frames the issue as one of political responsibility and the relationship between Serbian political leaders and the community they claim to represent.
