Kosovo’s Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, has announced that he has signed the decision to open a competition for specialist medical training, offering a total of 313 positions.
According to Vitia, this is the fourth specialisation competition to be opened in less than four years, with priority given to fields facing shortages and the needs of regional healthcare institutions.
He announced that, for the first time, the Ministry of Health will also fund 20 specialisation positions in family medicine.
A new feature of this competition is the introduction of a digital scoring system. Candidates will enter their information electronically, while the system will calculate their points according to the competition criteria. Following verification by the board, each candidate will have access to their individual score.
Vitia also announced that another competition for specialist medical training will soon be opened, this time to meet the needs of private healthcare institutions.
“More opportunities for our doctors, greater transparency in the process,” Minister Vitia stated, wishing all candidates success.
