European representatives will take part in talks on Ukraine expected to take place next week in Abu Dhabi, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot announced on Sunday.

Speaking in an interview with French radio station RTL, Barrot confirmed that France would participate in the discussions, although he did not reveal who would represent the country.

“Europeans will be represented at a high level. France will be in Abu Dhabi to take part in these discussions,” he stated.

Meanwhile, US special envoy Steve Witkoff announced that Washington intends to bring Ukrainian and Russian delegations together in Abu Dhabi on November 10 and 11.

The discussions are expected to focus on efforts to end the war launched by Moscow against Ukraine, post-war security arrangements and reducing tensions.

Negotiations on Ukraine have been stalled since the United States and Israel launched strikes against Iran on February 28 this year.
