The Embassy of Great Britain in Albania has announced that Nicholas Abbott will be the new British ambassador in Tirana.
In the announcement of the British embassy, it is announced that Abbott will start his work in Tirana in September of this year
“He has worked in Europe and the Middle East and brings an extraordinary experience even as His Majesty’s Ambassador to Kosovo,” the announcement states.
Abbott was Britain’s ambassador to Kosovo until the end of February this year, to make way for the new ambassador, Jonathan Hargreaves, who took up the post on March 5.
