The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, announced through his official account that our compatriots who are coming to Kosovo for holidays and those who want to return to their homeland have an open door for investment opportunities from July onward, thanks to the newly launched Diaspora Investment Window.
Kurti stated that through this initiative, loans will be guaranteed for businesses owned by the diaspora wanting to invest in Kosovo.
“This is the solution to the difficulties our entrepreneurial diaspora has faced so far in accessing financing from banks in the countries where they live, as well as in our banks due to the lack of credit history,” Kurti wrote.
The Prime Minister informed that the Diaspora Investment Window allows them to apply for loans up to three million euros in Kosovo banks, with a requirement that their capital participation must be at least 20%.
