Prime Minister Albin Kurti has invited young people aged 16 to 24 to apply for “paid internships, training, and mentorship.”
“The program is called Kosovo Generation Unlimited,” Kurti said in a video posted on Facebook.
“In just the last two years,” he stated, “over 1200 young people between the ages of 16 and 24 have benefited from this opportunity. 60% of them are girls.”
“The sectors are diverse: from services and retail to ICT, marketing, finance and banking, and public service,” Kurti added.
“I invite you to visit the website www.kosovogenu.com to see all the opportunities for paid internships, training, and mentorship that we are offering for our youth through the Ministry of Finance, Labor, and Transfers, in collaboration with UNICEF in Kosovo and member businesses of the CSR Kosova network,” he said.
As an example of this, Ylza Kuraja and Albin Lahu, two young people who said they had benefited from this opportunity, also spoke in the video released by the Prime Minister.
