The Mayor of Preševo, Ardita Sinani, has announced that the march by Albanians against discrimination by Belgrade will continue on September 23.

She stated that after the protest held in Bujanovac in August, the next march will take place in Preševo. The objectives of the march include halting the deactivation of addresses, recognizing diplomas, and other demands.

“The protest continues. For identity and dignity! Let’s march together. Against discrimination, oppression, and violations faced by Albanians in the Preševo Valley. Let’s march for equality and justice! In August we were in Bujanovac, in September we are in Preševo, to show that we are united. Our problems cannot be delayed any longer. No less than what is due to us, never more, but always what we deserve,” wrote Sinani.

“For the cessation of address deactivation, for the recognition of our diplomas, for job opportunities, and for institutions open to all. For the implementation of signed agreements and the fulfillment of state obligations towards Albanians in the Preševo Valley. For Preševo with a Court, for institutions where Albanians are represented! This is for all of us, for our dignity and identity. Come out and march,” she said.
