The Kosovo Police announced that in Zveçan, three plastic containers were found buried in the ground, containing military uniforms, AK47 rifles, hand grenades, and ammunition.
According to the Police, this case is related to a person of interest to the police, who is suspected to be linked to the Terrorist Attack in Banjskë .
“On November 19, 2024, after receiving information, a search was conducted on Kralj Petri Street in Zveçan by police units. During the search, three plastic containers (barrels) buried in the ground were found, containing military uniforms, AK47 rifles, hand grenades, and ammunition. Initially, one barrel was found by the DRP Mitrovicë North units, and later, two additional barrels were discovered by the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit.”
The evidence found and seized by the Police includes:
- 4 M75 hand grenades
- Two AK47 assault rifles
- Six AK47 magazines with ammunition
- One empty magazine
- 156 AK47 rounds
- 179 M48 rounds
- One military bulletproof vest with two plates
- Three pairs of pants
- Four military jackets
- Two tactical vests
- Two gas masks
- Two military shoulder bags
- Five military belts
- One black t-shirt
