KFOR soldiers have conducted a series of patrol and monitoring activities in the town of Istog.
In a media statement, KFOR said that these efforts are part of its daily mission to ensure a safe and peaceful environment for all communities living in Kosovo.
“KFOR continues to implement its mandate – based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 from 1999 – to contribute to a safe and peaceful environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo, and to ensure freedom of movement at all times and impartially. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and EULEX (European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo) in their respective roles as security responders,” the statement emphasized.
