The Special Prosecutor’s Office (SPO) is continuing its raid on the residence of former Minister of Justice, Hajredin Kuçi, since midday today. The raid is taking place in the well-known “Lagjja e Profesorëve” neighborhood, near the Technical Faculty in Pristina.

The area surrounding the house has been secured by police forces.

On Thursday, the SPO confirmed that operations are ongoing in Kosovo, although no details regarding arrests have been provided.

“The Special Prosecutor’s Office (SPO) is conducting continuous operations in Kosovo as part of an ongoing investigation focused on crimes related to the administration of justice. These operations have been authorized by the judiciary through the Kosovo Specialist Chambers (KSC) and are supported by the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX),” stated the SPO’s press release.

Meanwhile, earlier today, under suspicions of crimes against the administration of justice, the Specialist Court arrested former KLA commander Isni Kilaj, former head of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency Bashkim Smakaj, and Fadil Fazliu, brother of Fahri and Bahri Fazliu.
