Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has praised the strong leadership of the United States while congratulating President Donald Trump for his victory in the U.S. presidential elections.
During her visit to Paris for the reopening ceremony of the iconic Notre-Dame Cathedral, Osmani had the opportunity to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron. Notably, she also spoke with Donald Trump in the presence of President Macron.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), President Osmani expressed her honor in meeting Trump and extending her congratulations on behalf of the people of Kosovo. She also reaffirmed Kosovo’s commitment to strengthening its alliance with the United States.
“We rely on the strong leadership of the U.S. as we work together to promote peace, security, and prosperity in our region and beyond,” Osmani wrote in her post.
The meeting highlights the continued importance of Kosovo’s relationship with the U.S. and its alignment with American foreign policy goals. As tensions and challenges persist in the Balkans and the wider region, Osmani’s statement emphasizes Kosovo’s dedication to regional stability and collaboration with the global community.
