FSK Commander Attends U.S. Army Europe and Africa Command Change of Command Ceremony

The Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, was invited by the Commander of U.S. European Command (EUCOM), General Christopher G. Cavoli, for an official visit to the U.S. Army Europe and Africa (USAREUR-AF) Headquarters in Wiesbaden, Germany.

During the visit, General Jashari participated in the change of command ceremony of U.S. Army Europe and Africa, where General Darryl A. Williams officially handed over command to General Christopher T. Donahue.

General Jashari expressed his gratitude to General Williams for his continuous support of the KSF and its development. Both generals agreed that military relations between Kosovo and the United States are becoming increasingly stronger.

Additionally, General Jashari held an introductory meeting with General Donahue, congratulating him on assuming the role of Commander of U.S. Army Europe and Africa.

According to the KSF’s statement, both generals agreed to continue strengthening bilateral cooperation through joint exercises, training, and other collaborative activities.

“Military cooperation and enhancing interoperability between the KSF and U.S. Army Europe remain a priority for the Commander of KSF in line with the development and modernization of the Kosovo Security Force,” the statement concluded.
