The newly elected President of the United States, Donald Trump, has been named Person of the Year by Time magazine.
The year 2024 marks the seventh consecutive time that the winner of the presidential election has also been named Person of the Year.
Trump was first named Person of the Year in 2016 following his victory in that year’s election. Since Jimmy Carter, every U.S. president has been named Person of the Year at least once.
