Just hours after the World Cup 2026 qualifying groups were drawn, UEFA confirmed the full schedule of matches, including the one between our national team and Serbia, which will kick off its journey on June 7, 2025, at the “Arena Kombëtare” stadium in Tirana.

This match will be played without Serbian fans in attendance. UEFA has punished the Serbian Football Federation, banning Serbian supporters from attending their next two away matches.

The first away match happens to be in Tirana. It is still unclear whether Albanian fans will be allowed in Serbia, as reported by ABC News.

This decision stems from incidents that occurred 10 years ago in Belgrade. Despite the absence of Albanian fans, Serbian supporters caused disturbances that led to the match being abandoned, and Albania was awarded a 3-0 win by forfeit.
