KFOR Commander Major General Enrico Barduani met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy, Antonio Tajani, at Camp Film City in Prishtina.
During the meeting, General Barduani briefed Minister Tajani on ongoing activities and the security situation in Kosovo, emphasizing Italy’s significant contribution to KFOR, which makes up 20% of the total force, including leadership and operational units.
Following the briefing, Minister Tajani addressed the Italian Contingent, highlighting the vital role of KFOR in maintaining stability in the Balkans—a key priority for both Italy and the European Union.
He concluded by praising the Italian personnel for upholding the highest standards of justice, legality, and respect for human dignity.
