Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti emphasized in a press conference that Srpska Lista is not a legitimate political expression of Kosovo’s Serbs, but rather a dictate from Belgrade that aims to maintain Serbia’s influence over the Serb population in Kosovo. Kurti stated that as long as Milan Radojčić is not surrendered to Kosovo authorities, the Serbian List will remain his political arm and part of Serbia’s state-sponsored terrorism.

“The Serbian List is the biggest obstacle to the real integration of Serbs in Kosovo,” said Kurti, adding that those Serbs who support the Serbian List are manipulated and controlled by Belgrade.

Kurti highlighted that after the resignation of Srpska Lista members from Kosovo’s institutions in the north on November 5, 2022, and the involvement of Radojčić in the terrorist attack in Banjskë, this organization has consistently been problematic for the stability and security of Kosovo. He also pointed out that all actions and policies of the Serbian List are in line with Belgrade’s orders, and any attempt to disperse power in Kosovo’s institutions is manipulated by Serbia.

Kurti defended the stance of Vetëvendosje (VV) in the Central Election Commission (CEC), stating that the decision of VV representatives not to certify the Serbian List was completely justified and reasonable.

“Anyone who has followed VV’s stances in the past knew that no different position could be expected from our representatives in the CEC,” added Kurti.

Kurti strongly condemned those who, according to him, have created continuous insecurity for Serbs who want to integrate into Kosovar society, mentioning attacks and intimidation against them.

“From burning cars and properties to brutal beatings and threats against Serbs integrating into Kosovo, all of these carry the signature of the Serbian List,” Kurti said.

In conclusion, Kurti reiterated that VV remains committed to integrating Serbs into Kosovo’s society and that the support for the Serbian List is an obstacle to achieving this goal.
