Serbia’s Assembly President, Ana Brnabić, has made shocking claims about the ongoing student protests, accusing them of being part of a coordinated effort backed by foreign entities. She described the protests as a “coup” and an “attempted state overthrow,” asserting that they are following a blueprint from the “Blockade Cookbook,” a guide originally published in Zagreb by the Center for Anarchist Studies.

Brnabić said that the protesters’ actions, including the formation of plenums and working groups, are directly inspired by the tactics in this cookbook. “Here we have plenums, working groups, sections, stewards, program sections, the functioning of universities under student control… all of this is directly out of the ‘Blockade Cookbook,'” she said during a TV Pink interview., reports Nova.rs.

She also accused Croatia of being strategically interested in removing President Aleksandar Vučić from power. According to Brnabić, this interest aligns with Croatia’s broader geopolitical goals, which allegedly involve logistical, intelligence, and financial support for efforts aimed at destabilizing Serbia’s government.

“The strategic interest is clear: Croatia is providing logistical, intelligence, and financial support to any efforts aimed at removing Vučić,” Brnabić asserted. She further claimed that Croatian intelligence services have been behind various activities in Serbia over the last decade, particularly since Vučić became president in 2017.

Brnabić revealed that she had seen video evidence from Serbia’s intelligence services, showing how Croatian agents allegedly lobby and manipulate opposition leaders and members of the civil sector to work against Vučić’s government. She emphasized her shock that some Serbian opposition politicians consciously work in the interests of Croatian intelligence.

Moreover, Brnabić claimed that she received a document from students involved in the protests, which reportedly outlined plans to maintain the momentum of the protests during the holiday period. The document allegedly detailed strategies to create the illusion of ongoing mass support for the movement.

“This is an orchestrated effort, carefully planned by well-trained individuals. They aim to create the impression of widespread support, but in reality, the numbers are far fewer,” Brnabić concluded. “This is a colored revolution. This is a coup, an attempt to overthrow the state.”
