Liverpool are on their way to the Premier League title.

The Reds from Merseyside defeated Leicester 3-1 on “Boxing Day,” as part of the 18th week in the elite of English football.

But the start was not so easy for the hosts, who saw themselves at a disadvantage after just six minutes.

Jordan Ayew moved the guests into the lead after the assist from Mavididi, writes Gazeta Express.

Cody Gakpo equalized the figures with a goal in the first extra minute of the first half, following an assist from Mac Allister.

The Argentine midfielder also assisted on Curtis Jones ‘ second goal in the 49th minute.

And Mohamed Salah took care of the final goal and the epilogue of this encounter in the 82nd minute.

With this victory, Liverpool move to the quota of 42 points in first place, a full seven more than Chelsea.

Leicester remain 18th with 14 points.
