The political parties certified by the Central Election Commission (CEC) will draw their numbers for ballot placement in the upcoming Parliamentary Elections of Kosovo, which are scheduled for February 9, 2025.
The news was announced by the CEC spokesperson, Valmir Elezi.
“I would like to inform you that the draw for the placement of certified political parties in the ballot for the Parliamentary Elections of the Republic of Kosovo will take place on Monday, January 6, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM,” Elezi said to Express.
According to Elezi, “the draw for the ballot placement of political parties will be conducted in a way that ensures equal conditions for all political parties and full transparency.”
The draw for ballot placement precedes other electoral activities, such as the approval of the design and content of the election ballot.
Once the CEC approves the election ballot, voting for overseas voters registered to vote by mail will begin on January 9. On January 11, the political parties will officially kick off their election campaigns.
