Injured in Prizren Fireworks Accident Transferred to Turkey for Medical Treatment

The individual injured in Prizren on December 31 due to the accidental explosion of fireworks has been sent to Turkey for medical treatment. The Islamic Community of Kosovo (BIK) announced that, in cooperation with the Turkish Embassy in Kosovo, Abdurrahman Memaj will receive the necessary medical care.

“The Islamic Community of Kosovo, in cooperation with the Turkish Embassy in Pristina, has arranged emergency transport and medical treatment for Abdurrahman Memaj, who was severely injured by the fireworks explosion in Prizren,” the announcement stated.

The BIK also expressed gratitude to the Turkish Embassy and Government for facilitating medical treatment at the Deep Burn Research Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey. They called for increased caution and prayed for Memaj’s full recovery.

“We pray that Abdurrahman Memaj finds healing and returns healthy to his family,” the statement concluded.
