Greenland’s Prime Minister has stated that his country does not wish to become part of the United States.
“We are Greenlanders. We do not want to be Americans. We do not want to be Danish either. The future of Greenland will be decided by Greenland,” said Prime Minister Múte Egede in a press conference.
It is worth noting that just a few days ago, U.S. President-elect Donald Trump mentioned that he does not rule out the possibility of using military force to take control of the Panama Canal, as well as Greenland.
The Republican stated in a press conference that this would be vital for the national security of the United States.
