Israeli authorities have decided to release 183 Palestinian prisoners today in exchange for three Israeli hostages that Hamas is preparing to release in the Gaza Strip.
The prisoners include “18 sentenced to death, 54 sentenced to long prison terms, and 111 arrested in Gaza since October 7, 2023,” explained spokesperson Amani Sarahna.
The office of the Israeli Prime Minister and the Forum of Hostage Families confirmed that the hostages to be released are Ohad Ben Ami, 56, Eli Sarabi, 52, and Or Levi, 34.
