Kosovo’s Former KLA Leaders Vote in February 9 Elections from The Hague

Hashim Thaçi, former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), along with former parliamentarians Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi, and ex-deputy Rexhep Selimi, who are currently detained in the Specialist Chambers in The Hague, have cast their votes in the upcoming elections.

Valmir Elezi, a spokesperson for the Central Election Commission (KQZ), confirmed the news to Gazeta Express, stating that the citizens of Kosovo have exercised their constitutional right in accordance with KQZ procedures and regulations.

“I can confirm that the citizens of Kosovo who are currently in the Specialist Chambers in The Hague have exercised their constitutional right and voted in the Parliamentary Elections of the Republic of Kosovo, following the procedures and sub-legal acts of the KQZ,” Elezi said.
