The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Prizren has submitted a request to the Basic Court in Prizren for the detention of Fikrim Damka, the outgoing Minister for Regional Development, and another suspect identified as F.D.
The news was confirmed by Marcel Lekaj, spokesperson for the Basic Court in Prishtina, who stated:
“The prosecutor has submitted a request for the detention of the two defendants,” Lekaj added.
The spokesperson also noted that each defendant is suspected of committing two criminal offenses: ‘Assault’ and ‘Threatening’.
Damka is the leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo Turks (KDTP).
