The Chairman of the CEC, Kreshnik Radoniqi, was asked by journalists regarding reports of a cyberattack on the CEC website on the day of the elections after the publication of preliminary results.
He said that this matter is now in the hands of the Prosecutor’s Office and the Police, adding that they have some suspicions, which they have informed the security authorities about.
Radoniqi added that once they receive a report from these authorities, they will make it public.
“This matter is now in the hands of the Police and the Prosecutor’s Office. Until we receive a report from them, we will not provide any information because we do not have it. We have some suspicions, but those suspicions have been reported to the police. The police will issue a report. Once we receive a response from the police, we will make it public,” he said.
