The Commander of KFOR, Enrico Barduani, met today with Sami-Antti Takamaa, Deputy Chief of Operations for the Finnish Army, at the KFOR Headquarters at Camp Film City in Pristina.

KFOR announced that the discussions focused on various topics, including sustainable security across Kosovo, the regional stability situation, and KFOR’s efforts in supporting the EU-facilitated dialogue.

Barduani also congratulated General Takamaa for Finland’s contribution to KFOR and regional stability.

KFOR reiterated its commitment to carrying out its mandate, based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 from 1999, to ensure a secure environment for all people and communities in Kosovo and the freedom of movement, impartially and at all times.

KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the EU Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective security roles.
