The Chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, welcomed representatives from four major European organizations and institutes: Carnegie Europe, Notre Europe – Jacques Delors Institute, the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (DGAP), and the Clingendael Institute.
The meeting, organized as part of the study visit of these institutes to Kosovo from March 25-28, focused on the challenges and perspectives of Kosovo following the February 9 elections, as well as developments in the European Union and the United States.
During the discussion, Chairman Krasniqi emphasized the importance of a proactive approach in Kosovo’s path toward European integration and strengthening partnerships with the EU and international allies. He stressed that political stability and a strong government are crucial for advancing integration processes and reinforcing Kosovo’s position on the international stage.
Representatives of the participating institutes shared their insights on how Kosovo can benefit from the new dynamics within the EU and the US. They highlighted the importance of sustainable reforms and a stronger international dialogue.
This visit is part of a broader study, which will result in an analytical publication on Kosovo’s path toward stability and European integration.
