NATO has announced the acquisition of an advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) system to help boost the Alliance’s combat capabilities through technological advancements.

The system, purchased from the company “Palantir,” is named “Maven.”

“We are proud to support NATO’s efforts to strengthen deterrence by deploying an AI-powered operational platform at SHAPE. This partnership underscores the Alliance’s determination to lead fearlessly with technological innovations,” said Shon Manasco, Senior Advisor at Palantir Technologies.
