Former U.S. President Donald Trump has called for the reopening of the infamous Alcatraz prison.
In a post on his social media platform “Truth Social,” Trump warned that America “is being ruined by vicious, violent, and serial criminals, the scum of society, who will never contribute anything but misery and suffering.”
“Rebuild and open Alcatraz!” Trump declared.
“For a long time, America has been devastated by wild, violent criminal offenders, the scum of society, who will never contribute anything but misery and suffering. When we were a more serious nation, in past times, we didn’t hesitate to lock up the most dangerous criminals and keep them away from anyone who could be harmed. This is how it should be. We will no longer tolerate these serial offenders spreading filth, bloodshed, and chaos on our streets,” he continued.
Trump added that this was the reason he was leading the Bureau of Prisons, along with the Department of Justice, FBI, and National Security, to reopen a larger Alcatraz prison to house the most ruthless and violent criminals in America.
“We will no longer be held hostage by criminals, bandits, and judges who are afraid to do their job and allow us to remove criminals who have entered our country illegally.”
According to Trump, reopening Alcatraz will serve as a symbol of law, order, and justice.
“We will make America great again,” he concluded.
