Central Election Commission releases early vote count from 1,318 polling stations

The Central Election Commission (KQZ) in Albania released the latest election results early Monday morning, showing a clear lead for Edi Rama’s Socialist Party (PS) as the vote count continues.

As of 07:00 AM, data from 1,318 polling stations show the Socialist Party (PS) leading with

52.95% of the vote, totaling 174,713 ballots.

The Democratic Party (PD) holds second place with

34.13%, or 112,505 votes.

In third place is the Social Democratic Party (PSD), securing

3.75% of the vote with 12,368 ballots.

Following PSD, Nisma Shqipëria ranks fourth with

3.46% or 11,422 votes.

Meanwhile, Partia Mundësia currently holds the fifth position, with support ranging between

2.46% and 2.64%, pending final verification.

These preliminary results confirm PS’s strong performance across key regions, while opposition parties trail at a distance. Full results are expected as counting continues throughout the day.
