The Kosovo Security Force (KSF) has taken a significant step toward strengthening its cooperation with the United States by signing a new agreement with the United States European Command (EUCOM), aimed at enhancing interoperability and secure communication.
The Ministry of Defense announced that the agreement was signed during an official ceremony between the KSF Commander, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, and the Director of J6 at EUCOM, Major General John Phillips.
“During this meeting, the KSF Commander, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, and EUCOM J6 Director, Major General John Phillips, officially signed the Cooperation Agreement for Interoperability and Secure Communications (CISMOA). This agreement is of particular importance as it enables the exchange of secure and encrypted information, as well as the use of advanced defense technologies by the KSF,” the statement said.
“The KSF’s relationships with its strategic allies are essential for its development and empowerment. In line with this, the United States European Command (EUCOM) will continue to play a key role in strengthening Kosovo’s defense capacities,” the Ministry added.
