The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) has called on other parliamentary parties to attend the Assembly tomorrow at 11:00 a.m.
After asking the chair of the constitutive session, Avni Dehari, to convene the continuation of the session, the head of PDK’s parliamentary group said at a press conference that they had invited the other parliamentary political entities to attend the Assembly tomorrow. He said the Alliance had responded positively to the invitation, while the head of the Alliance’s parliamentary group, Besnik Tahiri, appeared alongside him at the press conference.
“We have also sent an invitation to the other political entities represented in the Assembly of Kosovo to be present tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. in the Assembly,” he said.
“The Alliance has responded positively, and we expect the other parties to respond as well, because it is the constitutional and moral obligation of each of us to attend the session and make the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo functional,” Tahiri added.
The head of the Alliance’s parliamentary group, Besnik Tahiri, said they had requested a meeting with Dehari “so that tomorrow, at 11:00 a.m., when the 48-hour period expires, the session can continue,” in accordance with the Assembly’s Rules of Procedure.
He said they had received no response from Dehari.
