Late-night residents of Rruga B in Pristina were startled by gunfire just after midnight, in what appears to be an isolated shooting incident that left several parked vehicles damaged.
Gunshots Ring Out in Residential Area
According to early eyewitness accounts and footage circulating on social media, multiple gunshots were heard shortly after midnight near the popular Rruga B area. While no injuries have been reported, bullets struck several parked vehicles, causing visible damage.
Local residents described the situation as alarming but short-lived. Police sirens were heard minutes after the shots rang out, and a heavy police presence was seen on-site shortly thereafter.
“I heard at least six shots. We came to the window and saw the police arriving quickly,” said a local resident who asked to remain anonymous.
Police Presence Intensifies; Investigation Ongoing
As of now, the Kosovo Police have not issued an official statement. However, video footage widely shared online shows dozens of officers patrolling the scene, securing the area, and inspecting damaged vehicles.
The motive and identity of the shooter(s) remain unknown. Authorities have not confirmed whether the shooting was targeted or random.

While no human injuries have been reported at this time, the incident has raised concerns among residents about public safety and the growing number of firearm-related incidents in urban areas.
