On Thursday, deputies of the Assembly of Kosovo were delivered an official communication from the Constitutional Court. They were informed that they may submit written comments regarding the request to assess the constitutionality of the decision not to approve the formation of the Committee for Secret Voting in the election of the Assembly Speaker. This request was submitted by the AAK party.

The notice, delivered by the Assembly’s Deputy Secretary Arben Loshi, was distributed to deputies in the plenary hall, where the 16th attempt to constitute the Assembly is expected today.

The communication states that the request registered under case KO124/25, filed by deputy Time Kadrijaj and ten other deputies, concerns the constitutionality of the May 5, 2025 decision to reject the formation of the Committee for Secret Voting for the election of the Speaker.

Deputies may submit their written comments no later than May 19, 2025 if they wish to respond to the request.
