Remains of three missing persons from the war have been found

The remains of three persons who went missing during the war in Kosovo have been located.

The excavation and exhumation operation in Prishtina lasted two days, and on Thursday the remains were sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine, the Acting Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, announced.

“After two days of excavation and exhumation operations in Prishtina, the forensic teams from the Institute of Forensic Medicine and EULEX, with the support of the Kosovo Police’s War Crimes Investigation Department and the Governmental Commission for Missing Persons, have located the remains of three persons missing from the recent war in Kosovo. The remains have been sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for further examination and identification processes,” Haxhiu wrote on Facebook.
