Birth Rate Increases in Kosovo: 2,061 Children Born in March Alone

In March of this year, 2,061 children were born in Kosovo, marking a 5% increase compared to the previous month of February. These figures were published by the Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS).

Male births continue to outnumber females, with 1,074 boys and 987 girls born in March.

“Based on administrative data for March, a total of 2,061 births were registered in Kosovo and abroad, of which 1,074 were male and 987 female. Compared to February 2025, there is a 5% increase in the number of births,” states the KAS report.
