The Mayor of Bujanoc, Arbër Pajaziti, has spoken out following the vandalism of a poster promoting a concert organized as part of the “Commander Lleshi Days” commemoration.
Ridvan Qazimi, known by his nickname Commander Lleshi, was one of the most prominent commanders of the Liberation Army of Presevo, Medvedja, and Bujanoc. He was killed in action on May 24, 2001, in the village of Tërnoc i Madh.
A video has circulated showing an individual smashing glass and vandalizing the poster of Commander Lleshi in Bujanoc.
