“Defender 2025”: International Military Exercise Held Today in Babaj i Bokës, Gjakova

Today, the Distinguished Visitors Day is taking place at the Training Range in Babaj i Bokës, in the municipality of Gjakova, as part of the major international military exercise “Defender Europe 2025.”

The Kosovo Security Force (KSF) announced that the event is open to media and will be attended by high-ranking Kosovo state officials, NATO country representatives, as well as senior officers from the KSF and other participating countries.

“Through operational scenarios, the Kosovo Security Force will demonstrate its operational readiness and combat interoperability with partner and regional countries, including the United States, Albania, Croatia, North Macedonia, and Bulgaria,” the KSF stated.

“Defender 2025” is led by the U.S. Army and is the largest military exercise conducted in Europe, involving over 25,000 troops from the U.S. and partner nations.
