The Regional Command West (RC-W) of the NATO-led KFOR mission has carried out several donations through its Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) teams, including all communities living within their area of responsibility in Kosovo, reports Rks News.
RC-W donated a heating system to the Safe House in Gjakova, school equipment in Malishevë/Mališevo, medical equipment in Mamusha/Mamuša, a lighting system to the Decani Monastery in Deçan, as well as an electric wheelchair in Istog.
These initiatives aim to improve living conditions and contribute to the sustainable development of local communities.
KFOR reiterated its commitment to fulfilling the mandate given by UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999, ensuring a safe environment and freedom of movement for all citizens in Kosovo.
In this context, KFOR continues to work closely with the Kosovo Police and EULEX in their respective roles as security responders.
